What’s Next: 2027
During our first ten years, we have assisted 104 athletes (97 women, 7 men), from 18 countries in five disciplines of cycling (road, mountain, cyclocross, track & triathlon), seven of whom are Olympians. Many of our athletes have made the jump from domestic elite to professional racing while residents. When it comes to investing in women, the Homestretch Foundation is successful and thriving.
So what’s next?
2027: Homestretch 2.0 moves to a grant-based program for athletes to secure a rental home for three months of winter training in Tucson.
THREE athletes will be selected to receive grants that cover 3 months of rent/utilities in Tucson, AZ from Dec 1, 2026 - Mar 1, 2027
Homestretch will guide the athletes in booking a rental residence in Tucson
Individuals or pairs (teammates, training partners) may apply for a grant
First priority is first given to UCI Pro Continental road cyclists and National Team athletes targeting LA 2028 Olympics, second priority is given to Domestic Elite Team road cyclists first, third priority to MTB and track cyclists
Applications for 2027 will be open September 1-30, 2026.
Applicants will be selected in October 2026.
Mark your calendar! Read the Application/FAQ page in advance.
Where do donations go?
All donations go directly to our 2026 and 2027 seasons. Please keep those donations coming! Without you, there is no Homestretch Foundation.
